Why Support Young Black Lives Today?

It is important to save Black boys’ lives because their survival is both a moral imperative and a political act. Black boys carry generations of stolen potential—often criminalized before they are ever protected, and buried before they are ever believed in. To save their lives is to disrupt a cycle of abandonment that begins in the womb and extends through every institution they touch. It is to declare that their futures are not disposable. That their minds, their emotions, their brilliance, and their presence matter. Saving Black boys is not about charity—it’s about justice, legacy, and the refusal to let another generation be erased.
